New Bishop Consecrated
On Sunday, March 6, 2005, the fourth bishop of San Diego, The Right Reverend James E. Mathes was installed. It began with the new bishop knocking on the Cathedral Door. He was met by the Dean, clergy, chapter members and wardens and seated in his bishop’s chair We warmly welcome Bishop Mathes, his wife, Terri and children Lee and Sara.
