Activities
The best part of EDS is the wide range of activities that are available for our students. Students have plenty of opportunity for free play and free activities, coupled with plenty of organized activities offered daily to choose from. Plenty of opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun!

EDS students can participate in All Saints’ organized activities, such as basketball and volleyball and the Middle School Drama Program. There are also outside programs, such as Girl Scouts, that take place at EDS.

EDS staff have also organized special programs we sponsor.

Words Works
This poetry program introduces students to the wonder of words through reading and writing poetry. Students discover age appropriate poetry, play rhyming games, and write their own works.

Chess Club
Enjoy the game of kings! The Chess Club offers students an opportunity to learn the basic skills of chess, play games, and solve chess puzzles, while receiving special one on one guidance.

Gaming Club
Enjoy popular games such as Magic the Gathering™, Pokemón™, and Warhammer™. It’s a great opportunity to socialize and play these popular games with staff and fellow students. Don’t have the games? Don’t worry!  Everyone brings extra!

Arts and Crafts
Feeling crafty?  Arts and crafts lets you explore your artistic side! We do special seasonal crafts and larger scale art activities. Our projects are appropriate for all ages and teach excellent basic art skills. 

Cooking Class
Come learn to make delicious treats with our very own Hot Lunch Guru: Mrs. Landt! Learn basic kitchen skills along the way. Oh… and don’t forget that you get to eat your treats, too!

Library
Students at EDS have access to our Anne Ehrhart Library for research and checking out books. Give your child the opportunity to read.

Philosophy
We support students in learning respect for self, property, and others. We encourage students to be responsible participants who assist in caring for one another and the facilities they use.

Authorized Check Out
Students checked into EDS must be signed out by parents, guardians, or other adults authorized by the parents or guardians to do so. Authorized persons must be admitted to the EDS area by the staff to be recognized before the students are released to their custody.

Schedule
A light, healthy snack is provided daily. All students work on homework between 3:15 and 4:00 PM. Students are divided by grade level. Students have access to sports equipment, board games, and art supplies during free play.

Late Pickup
Parents of children not picked up by 6:00 PM will be charged $1.00 per minute for each minute past 6:00 PM. Our staff members are scheduled to leave at 6:00 PM. Repeatedly picking up children after 6:00 PM will prohibit the child from use of EDS.

Options
EDS offers four plans and three contract options to fit your family’s needs. We offer discounts for multiple children. Contract students have the option to come to EDS during select holiday breaks.
