Our school is accredited by the National Association of Episcopal Schools and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), which is a rigorous inspection process that requires frequent inspections and monitoring. WASC divides their assessment by these six criteria:
Credentialed teachers
It is common to have teachers who are not credentialed in their field, teaching children. We are proud of our remarkable, credentialed teaching staff, who provide exceptional education and care for their students. Our teachers are awarded the freedom to teach their subjects in a manner that fits each class' ability and talents. This custom-approach, leads to a high-quality instruction that is both creative and interesting.
Strong teacher to student ratios
In these days of crowded classrooms, we are committed to maintaining a small classroom of no more than 20 children with our ratio for the 2004-2005 school year twelve students per teacher. We believe a teacher must have the time and resources to give each child individualized attention and feedback. Your children's educational success is our goal. Children in small classrooms learn better, have more opportunity to ask questions, work in groups, and feel supported. In this manageable environment, students know that their teachers and parents are working together for them, and with them.
